ACADEMICS

Cashton Public School boasts both state and nationally recognized programming. We are proud of our focus on small class sizes, technology, literacy, and rigorous curriculum.

 

CO-CURRICULARS

The district offers a full range of before and after-school co-curricular opportunities in both middle school and high school. With some of the highest participation rates in the area, our students are involved in a variety of athletic, leadership, and academic activities.

 

FACILITIES

Since 1996 our community has provided us with expanded and remodeled buildings. Additionally, our facilities provide and use some of the latest advancements in technology for both security and classroom achievement. Our mobile computer labs, SMART Boards, and wireless environment contribute to a rigorous 21st Century educational experience.

 

STAFF

Our outstanding staff genuinely cares about our students and our community. On average, our teachers have over 24 graduate credits beyond their bachelor’s degree (68%), and over 50% of our teachers have earned their master’s degree. From National Certification to our Four-Year-Old Kindergarten teachers with special certification in literacy, our staff is second to none. The attitude, atmosphere, and student-focused nature of our schools are well-known throughout the area and the state.

 

COMPLIMENTARY COMMUNITY PROGRAMMING

The Cashton community lays claim to some of the best community-based, learning programs in the state. They include Friends of the Library, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4H, PALS program, KATS, Family Activity Club, along with a host of other community clubs. The collective effect of these after-school programs is a rich environment where students build deep background knowledge, where kids make positive connections with adults, and where students develop leadership skills.
